Maybe create or join a Facebook group or the Reddit group for the nearest city to you - they sometimes host in person Meetups. Try to go to events on, , (the Meetup mobile app gives you a map view with pins of all the nearby events, I highly recommend it). I am a REAL bad software developer and this is my life.I searched, , my city's chamber of commerce, joined a BNI networking group, etc. Then, I added them on LinkedIn and invited them out for coffee. I introduced myself to over 10K people in person. When I first started my accounting firm from scratch I attended 7 networking events a week. Have you heard of a styled shoot? You can buy tickets for local styled shoots on - local photographers will hire models to dress in wedding clothes and invite other photographers to grab content for the day!!
Many companies/agenices/affinity groups/non-profits/etc will have events where she can mingle.
